Faigo and San Michele

A medium route of almost 9 kilometers that starts and finishes in Malcesine via Faigo and San Michele. It climbs and descends on two paved mule tracks with beautiful views of Malcesine and Lake Garda.

The tour starts at the beginning of the southern Panoramica road. Continue north on the Gardesana road and at the second roundabout enter Via Navene Vecchia on the right uphill. Go on straight and at the end of the uphill, after one kilometer, turn right uphill close to restaurant Il Cervo and enter the mule track.

At the shrine, keep left, then right to end up on the Panoramica road. Cross it and take the concrete road uphill with indications for Monte Baldo. Go on until you reach the woods: at the crossroads go right and stay on path number 4 that carries on uphill until the meadows of Faigo at 550 meters of height.

Continue straight on the main path to the south until the concrete road of Prai. Here go right, then right again to reach San Michele.

Go on straight and turn again to the right up to Passo Campiano. Now turn right again to enter the northern Panoramica road and at the end of the first downhill turn left for Paier. Continue straight on and after the shrine take the steep mule track on the right signed to Malcesine that in a short time will take you to Via Sant Antonio. Turn right again to go back to Via Navene Vecchia. At the crossroads turn left to reach the starting point of the route.
